It's simple: upload your model file (or paste a link to one), choose your material, finish, color, and print settings, then submit. I'll review the order and send you a quote before anything is charged. Once you approve, I print and ship.
Most orders are quoted within a few hours and shipped within 1–2 days of approval.
You're not charged anything when you submit the form. I'll send a quote to your email first. You only pay after you've reviewed and approved it. No surprises.
Yes, the order form supports multiple files and URLs in a single submission. Each model gets its own settings panel where you can choose different materials, finishes, colors, and quantities independently.
The showcase is just for inspiration. You can upload any model file or paste a link from Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3D, MakerWorld, or anywhere else. If you have a file on your computer, just upload it directly.
Use the "Ask a Question" tab on the main page. Just enter your name, email, and your question. I'll get back to you by email. There's no obligation to order.
The following formats are supported:
- STL: the most common 3D format, works with almost every CAD tool
- OBJ: widely supported, great for detailed meshes
- 3MF: the modern standard, preserves color and scale info
- STEP / STP: common for engineering and CAD models
- ZIP: for multi-file models, zip them up and upload the archive
You can also paste a link from Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3D, MakerWorld, or MyMiniFactory and I'll grab the file from there.
Yes, a couple of options:
- Browse the Model Showcase to find something you like and request it directly
- Paste a link from any of the popular model sites. Thingiverse and Printables have thousands of free models
- Describe what you want in the notes field and I'll let you know if it's something I can source
Most models downloaded from sites like Printables or Thingiverse are already print-ready. For your own files, common issues that can cause problems include:
- Walls that are too thin (under ~0.8mm)
- Non-manifold geometry (holes in the mesh)
- Models that are too large for the largest print bed (330 × 330mm on the VzBot 330)
- Floating parts with no support
If there's a problem with your file I'll let you know in the quote and suggest a fix. You won't be charged for a failed review.
I have multiple printers with different build volumes. The largest is the VzBot 330 with a 330 × 330mm bed, so most models fit in a single print. For very large models that still exceed that, splitting into pieces is an option. Just mention it in the notes and I'll advise on the best approach.
Yes, use the notes field on the order form. You can specify a percentage (e.g. "print at 75%"), an exact dimension (e.g. "make it exactly 15cm tall"), or just describe the intended size ("should fit in the palm of a hand"). I'll confirm the scale before printing.
Here's the quick version:
- PLA: best for display models, figurines, gifts, and prototypes. Most color and finish options. Most affordable.
- PETG: best for functional parts that need strength or moisture resistance. Naturally glossy/translucent finish. Great all-rounder.
- TPU: best for anything that needs to flex, grip, or absorb shock. Phone cases, gaskets, wearables.
If you're not sure, PLA is the right default for most orders. See the Print Details Guide for a deeper comparison.
- Matte: flat, natural look. Available on PLA and TPU.
- Glossy / Translucent: shiny, semi-clear. PETG only (it's the natural surface of the material).
- Silk: pearlescent sheen, stunning on figurines and gifts. PLA only. +$1.00.
- Wood: real wood-particle filament, natural grain texture. PLA only, light or dark wood tones. +$1.00.
The order form automatically grays out finishes that aren't compatible with your chosen material.
Standard colors include white, black, gray, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, pink, teal, natural, and rainbow/multi-color. There's also a custom color option where you can pick a hex color or describe the shade you want. I'll match it as closely as stock allows.
Not every color is available in every material. If your chosen combination isn't in stock I'll let you know before printing and suggest the closest alternative.
Infill is the internal structure of the print, specifically how solid the inside is. It's expressed as a percentage: 0% is hollow, 100% is fully solid.
- 10–20%: good for decorative models and figurines (default)
- 30–50%: better for parts that see occasional stress
- 60–80%: for load-bearing or structural parts
- 100%: maximum strength, used for press-fit connectors and high-stress parts
Higher infill means more filament, more print time, and higher cost. For most decorative prints 15–20% is plenty.
Price is based on material cost (per gram), print time (per hour), finish, and quality setting. There's also a small $3 base fee per model. The order form has a built-in estimator. Open a model's settings panel and either pick an approximate size (XS through XL) for a quick ballpark, or enter exact weight and print time from a slicer for a more accurate figure.
Current rates:
- PLA: $0.05/g + $5.00/hr
- PETG: $0.08/g + $5.00/hr
- TPU: $0.12/g + $6.00/hr
- Silk finish: +$1.00
- Wood finish: +$1.00
It varies a lot by size, but as a rough guide:
- Small models (keychains, small figures, desk clips): roughly $8–18
- Medium models (phone stands, small vases, tabletop minis): roughly $18–40
- Large models (full figures, functional enclosures, shelf systems): roughly $40–90+
These are estimates. The actual quote depends on the specific model. Submit your order and I'll give you an exact price before charging anything.
Shipping is calculated separately and added to the quote. It depends on the size and weight of the finished print and your location. I ship from Central Florida via USPS or UPS.
Just submit the order without touching the estimator fields. That's what the quote step is for. I'll slice the model myself and send you an exact price before anything is charged.
If you want a rough ballpark before submitting, free slicers like Cura or PrusaSlicer can give you estimated weight and time from your model file.
Most orders are quoted within a few hours of submission. Once you approve the quote, printing and shipping typically happens within 1–2 days. Shipping transit time on top of that depends on your location and the carrier.
Yes, I ship anywhere in the United States from Central Florida via USPS or UPS. Shipping cost is included in the quote.
If you're in Central Florida, local pickup may be available. Just mention it in the notes field when you place your order and I'll let you know.
If your order arrives damaged in transit, get in touch by email with a photo and I'll work something out, either a reprint or a refund. Prints are packaged carefully but shipping accidents happen.
